Promoting or Inhibiting? Digital Inclusive Finance and Cultural Consumption of Rural Residents

Improving the cultural consumption level of rural residents is great practical significance to help revitalize culture and achieve common prosperity. Based on this, this study empirically examines role impact mechanism digital inclusive finance enhancing using panel data 30 provinces across China from 2011 2020. The results show that: (1) Digital can significantly improve residents. After a robustness test endogenous analysis, conclusion still stable. (2) improves through three paths: raising income farmers, promoting urbanization, improving financial development. (3) Heterogeneity analysis shows that breadth coverage residents, but depth use degree digitization do not an effect; development in eastern area has significant central western areas.
